GASRA NGV (Natural Gas Vehicle) is a product that serves the conversion of motorized vehicles from Fuel Oil (BBM) to Bahan Bakar Gas (BBG) and provides MRU (Mobile Refueling Unit). Gasra NGV can provide economic benefits, namely low costs, can improve regional air quality, and reduce gas emissions. GASRA NGV has carried out many vehicle conversions, including the conversion of taxis with Fuel Filling Stations (SPBG) in Surabaya, conversion of public transport with Fuel Filling Stations in Palembang, conversion of Bajaj TVS Motor Company Indonesia and several operational vehicles.
- The process of mixing air with CNG is relatively faster because both liquids are in gas form.
- Will not cause scale on the engine, especially in the combustion chamber.
- The resulting pollution is lower.
- For vehicles that use CNG fuel, the maintenance process is relatively easier when compared to vehicles that use oil fuel.
- CNG uses a good sealing system, in terms of preventing leaks so that storage is more efficient because the possibility of losses is very small.
- Extends the life of vehicle lubricants (oil), because CNG will not contaminate engine oil.
NGV (Natural Gas Vehicle) is an application of motor vehicle conversion technology from oil fuel to gas fuel. Using natural gas for vehicles is actually more profitable. Economically, it is considered more efficient and more economical than using fuel oil (BBM).
PT CNG is a major player in the NGV industry and works hand in hand with the government to reduce fuel emissions by supporting the Go Green program in using fuel as an alternative for public transportation.
As part of our commitment to revive the NGV market, PT CNG converts small and medium vehicles to NGV, builds and establishes NGV stations, with the first NGV station in Surabaya in 2008, the second station in Palembang in 2010, and the third station in Waru , East Java.
And in 2014, PT CNG also converted taxis with
Mini SPBG facilities with the Mobie Refueling Unit (mobile SPBG) concept.
